IS BROOKS OUT?

BUCS' INTEREST IN BRIGGS A MESSAGE TO BROOKS?
Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are interested in trading for Bears linebacker Lance Briggs.
Schefter says that Bucs officials have confirmed their interest in Briggs.
If Tampa would land the Tampa 2 linebacker, the Bucs would have three -- that's three -- weakside specialists under contract. In additional to Briggs, they have mainstay Derrick Brooks and newcomer Cato June, who signed a three-year deal with a total value that's roughly one half of what Briggs likely wants in guaranteed money.
Are the Bucs serious? We don't think so. But we do think that it's head coach Jon Gruden's way of letting Brooks know that Gruden would prefer that Brooks move on. (Not gonna do it tonight.)
The other alternative would be to move Briggs to the middle. He wants to be Brian Urlacher; why not let him play Urlacher's position? But that means Brooks or June wouldn't be able to move to the middle.
Besides, June probably can only play the weakside, given his safety-sized body.
In our view, then, this isn't about the Bucs getting Briggs. It's about the Bucs getting rid of Brooks. And it could happen sooner than anyone realizes.

Quarles the next to go?

According to the Bucs Radio Network Quarles is out as of tomorrow.

"The Buccaneers added to their offensive line Tuesday by signing former Atlanta guard Matt Lehr. A seventh-year pro, Lehr spent the last two seasons with the Falcons after playing his first four years in Dallas followed by a single season (2004) with the Rams.Last year Lehr was suspended for four games midway through the season for violating the league's steroid/related substances policy. He did start 11 games in 2006-07 and in 69 career games has 48 starts. On Monday the Bucs learned their preseason schedule, and it's one that will keep them in state the whole way. The first opponent is a good one, as the Patriots come to Raymond James Stadium the second weekend of August (exact dates will be announced soon). After the opener the Bucs will play at Jacksonville and at Miami before concluding at home against the Texans.Shelton Quarles, depending on which reports one believes, either has a hip injury or a concussion. When asked from the football meetings in Arizona last week, Buccaneer head coach Jon Gruden did not shed light on the specifics but at least offered something that until then had not been clear: the Bucs do want Quarles back."We've got to let the medical people do their part also, and we'll just keep our fingers crossed and hope it works out," Gruden said in Friday's St. Petersburg Times. "Shelton still can really play well."Quarles is not telling, the Bucs are not saying, and with Quarles' comments to Bay area newspapers Tuesday the mystery is only growing. To both the St. Pete Times and Tampa Tribune, Quarles would not address what his injuries were but said he wants to play football. Reports had been that Quarles' injuries might lead to him having to at least sit out a year."I know I have the ability to play," Quarles told the Tribune. "If it was up to me, we proably wouldn't be talking about it right now," he said in the Times.Basically it sounds like the Bucs have been very slyly trying to save some money by releasing Quarles, using the injuries as a reason -- but again, no one can say what is hampering the linebacker, if anything.Recently the team signed linebacker Cato June."

Wrestlemania 23

The greatest show on earth just happened last night. This is a bigger night then even the NFL Superbowl. I love pro-wrestling even more then I love the NFL. Nothing holds a candle to the WWE not even the Bucs. The World Wrestling Entertainment® set an all-time attendance record at Ford Field last night, as 80,103 ecstatic fans shared in the excitement of WrestleMania 23, Fans packed Ford Field from ringside to the rafters, including thousands with standing room only tickets.WrestleMania 23 is the highest grossing one-day live event in WWE history, grossing more than $5.38 million in ticket sales.Fans converged on Detroit from 24 countries, all 50 states and 9 Canadian provinces, pumping an estimated $25 million into the local economy. This marks the second time World Wrestling Entertainment has established an attendance record in Detroit. In 1987, at WrestleMania III, 93,173 fans filled the Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich., setting the all-time indoor attendance record.“Who says lightning doesn’t strike twice,” said Kurt Schneider, Executive Vice President of Marketing. “Ford Field shook to the very core of its foundation with the thunderous noise from the record-setting crowd. The support of our fans in Detroit and around the world made WrestleMania 23 a tremendous success.”

For those keeping track that record is even more then Superbowl attendance. More views tuned into Wrestlemania then tuned into the Superbowl.

ARE YOU READY....

I said are you ready.
As most of you know, I am a huge wrestling fan, and I have even met a lot of the wrestlers specially when I was stationed at Fort Bragg. Well next year I get to go to the Super Bowl of Wrestling.

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that WrestleMania 24 will be held at the Citrus Bowl. The Citrus Bowl holds 65,000 people. The full article is available here.

According to figures generated by the Central Florida Sports Commission, WrestleMania 24 is expected to pump an estimated $25 million into the local economy, while creating jobs and generating the type of excitement that a world- class event brings to a world-class city.

CATO JUNE IS NOW A BUC.

The Bucs made a huge play in free agency on Friday. This is probably the biggest offseason move for the Bucs todate. Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed unrestricted free agent linebacker Cato June, the leading tackler this past season for the Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts.

June, who became an unrestricted free agent this month, has been a starter the past three seasons in Indianapolis and earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2005 when he tallied 109 tackles and five interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns. That same year he was also named to the Associated Press NFL All-Pro Second Team and the Pro Football Weekly/Professional Football Writers of America All-NFL Team.A converted college safety, June was drafted in the sixth round (198th overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Colts, and quickly became a lynchpin at the linebacker position in the Colts’ Cover Two-oriented defense. In 2004 – June’s first year as a starter – he led his team in tackles, posting 128 stops. Pro Bowl honors followed the season after, and last year June’s 162 tackles were again a team-high.
Only 27 years of age, the 6-0, 227-pound June is considered one of the up-and-coming linebackers in the league and is widely viewed as an excellent fit for the defensive scheme employed by the Buccaneers because of his coverage and pursuit skills.

Bucs are about to give up all.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing in Saints defensive end Charles Grant for a visit.

The significance? Grant carries the Saints' franchise tag.
By rule, Grant may sign an offer sheet with any other team. If the Saints should opt not to match, they would receive two first-round picks as compensation.

Such an outcome is highly unlikely, since the Bucs hold the fourth overall pick. And trading down before signing Grant isn't an option; the Bucs must give up their own first-rounder, not someone else's.

The more likely outcome is that, if the Bucs decide to make a play for Grant, Tampa and New Orleans will work out a trade. And with the Bucs potentially going for broke in 2007 under coach Jon Gruden and G.M. Bruce Allen, both of whom might be gone by next year, we wouldn't rule out a package including the Bucs' third-round pick in 2007 and a conditional pick in 2008.

Saturday Bucs News.

According to www.profootballtalk.com "Jeff Garcia is ready for the quarterback competition in Tampa. (It should be a real nail-biter, given that Chris Simms has essentially conceded the gig.)"

The Bucs on Wednesday agreed to terms on a one-year deal with 49ers free agent defensive tackle Lance Legree.

PLUMMER OFFICIALLY RETIRES, WE THINK
Quarterback Jake Plummer has announced his retirement from the NFL.
"I wanted to come in and tell you guys on camera and face-to-face that the speculation can stop tonight," Plummer said. "You can know by the looking in my face and hearing my words that I am retiring from the NFL. At 32 years old, I'm running away from the game. Not in fear or fright, but health-wise. I'm healthy. I'm happy. I have a lot to look forward to in my life."
Reports of Plummer's retirement surfaced not long after reports surfaced that he had been traded by the Broncos to the Buccaneers. The timing prompted speculation that Plummer was trying to engineer his arrival in Houston.

We've since heard that Plummer isn't serious about retiring. If he is, he'll potentially be required to cough up a portion of his signing bonus money.

Free agent linebacker Chris Draft's discussions with New Orleans did not work out, his agent said Wednesday night. Draft recently visited the Saints, looking for a starting position.
"Chris will visit Tampa Bay (on) Monday

Is Randy Moss a Buc.

Bruce Allen was on the Bucs Radio Network this morning at 0600 hours, and the Bucs are now officially in the hunt for Randy Moss. The Bucs, Patriots, and the Jets and Green Bay are all seeking trades for Moss. This could be huge breaking news in days to come.

More Breaking news, it seems Plummer will not retire and will land in Houston. The deal is still being worked out according to both teams.

The Bucs allegedly have signed Kansas City free agent offensive tackle Jordan Black, who visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today. We will see if the reports coming from the Bucs Radio Network are true. If so they are really fixing the O line this offseason.

Here is some of Bruce Allen with Dan Sileo on the Bucs Radio Network:
Allen On Plummer:
"Bucs own the rights to Plummer. It was an out right trade. Jake has not filed
for retirement. There is no doubt that getting these qbs has given us options,
but we hope Jake will play for the Bucs. It will sort itself out over the next
few days."
Allen On Signing Petitgout:
"The starting qb will be decided later, we had a very young offensive line, and
we are trying to get better at pass protection. The plan was to
bring in one veteran and we were able to do that. He broke his leg last season,
but the doctors have assured me that he is ready to play."
Allen On Draft and Calvin Johnson:
He dodge the question, but said Johnson would be a huge playmaker.
Allen On Randy Moss:
Refused to talk about him at this time due to being under contract with another
team.
Allen On Kevin Carter:
"He is versatile and has never played less than 76% of the snaps as a DE until he
went to Miami. He is a great guy, a real leader. "
Allen On Rice:
"He is not going anywhere, he is almost back to 100% and he is pushing for
Plummer to come to Tampa. He is friends with Plummer and played with Plummer
with the Cardnials. He thinks he will be a great fit here in Tampa. He is in
high spirits now. "
Allen On last years problems:
"Both on passing, QB for us was bad and QB against us were great they averaged
90% for a QB rating, which is unheard of with a Bucs Defense. We are fixing both of these problems this offseason."

Other Buc Free Agent news:
Seattle free-agent tight end Jerramy Stevens visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay WR Joey Galloway agrees to a restructured deal, signing a three-year, $7.5 million deal that includes $3.1 million worth of guaranteed money. He was due $2.8 million this year, the new deal calls for him to make $1.2 million in base salary, with a $1.8 million roster bonus payment, and $100,000 workout incentive. Galloway is also now scheduled to make $1.767 million in 2008 and $2 million in 2009. It was quite the busy weekend for the Bucs.

Buchanon resigns with Bucs

The Bucs re-signed unrestricted free agent cornerback Phillip Buchanon on today. This is good news, as a former Miami Hurricane, Buchanon, who joined Tampa Bay last October after starting the season with the Houston Texans, played in 10 games (four starts) for the Bucs and finished with 28 tackles, two interceptions, seven passes defensed and one fumble recovery. This guy could be huge.

Buchanon, drafted in the first round (17th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft by Oakland, has recorded 187 tackles and 13 interceptions, including four for touchdowns in 60 career games (38 starts). He also has 98 punt returns for 986 yards and three TDs and seven kickoff returns for 131 yards.

CHUKWURAH TO BUCS CONFIRMED

CHUKWURAH IS A BUC. The deal is for five years, and those negotiations just netted the former Broncos LB/DE a new 5-year, $5.5 million contract. The deal is the best indication yet that the Bucs aren’t confident about re-signing DE Dewayne White. White is in Detroit today visiting his old D-line coach Rod Marinelli. He may not leave there without a contract. If that proves to be the case the Bucs appear to have a replacement in hand

WWE 3rd Hall of Fame Inductee.

Jerry "The King" Lawler is the 3rd member to be inducted into the 2007 Wrestling Hall of Fame. He joins "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning.

Alstott's New Deal and More Bucs News.

Mike Alstott fan favorite will return to the Bucs for his 12th season. Mike Signs new deal Thursday.

"The Buccaneers’ six-time Pro Bowl fullback is coming back for another season
after agreeing to a new contract on Thursday. Alstott will be adding a 12th year
to a career that has spawned countless lasting images not only for the Bucs
walls but for the minds of just about every Tampa Bay fan since 1996."
http://blogs.tampabay.com/bucs/2007/03/alstott_nearly_.html

Overall this is good news for Bucs fans and season ticket holders like myself. It is always the best move for a fan to see one of the greatest Buccaneer of all time play the game, but I am not sure over all this is a smart move for the Bucs. Sure $21 million under the cap they can afford this fan favorite and keep the pressure of the fans off the organizations back. However, is this really a smart move? He is a great football player, but Gruden won't use him the way he should be used, and lets not forget his blocking does Cadillac no favors. So does this help the Bucs, I say yes, because of locker room leadership, but no as for a key player on this offense. Cadillac needs a Lorenzo Neal type fullback, which Sowell, Jerald brings to the table. Sowell has helped Curtis Martin reach 1,000 yard mark on more then one occasion.

Bucs also finally did something they should have done two years ago, the cut a penalty making poor excuse for an offensive line men in Kenyatta Walker.

Another sad peice of news that the Bucs are reporting is that Shelton Quarles is more then likely going to retire before the 07 season. My wife and I met Mr. Quarles My wife and I with Quarles., He is a very nice gentleman, and will be missed. However, I am ready to see Barrett Rudd in action full time.
Some thing I found interesting, is that the mock drafts for the 07 NFL Draft has the Bucs now picking Joe Thomas. Before it was Calvin Johnson. I think if Thomas is on the board you take him. However, Detroit will more then likely take Thomas. But I am intrigued with Johnson as well.
Breaking News, once again you heard it hear first. Garcia will sign a two year deal with the Bucs reported worth $5 million per season. Bucs radio network reported this info this afternoon. He is old, but he is a lot better then Simms could ever be. Calvin Johnson then would be a nice fit for the Bucs.

Damn Our Luck

The Bucs loss the coin toss today and will pick 4th in the 2007 Draft. More to come about the draft.

For the record, the call was “Heads.”The coin came up tails, and thus the
Cleveland Browns will pick third in the first round of the draft. The Tampa
Bay Buccaneers will pick fourth in the first round but General Manager Bruce
Allen, who made the call before the coin was flipped by NFL Director of
Player Personnel Ken Fiore, didn’t seem particularly disheartened.

WWE HALL OF FAME

2007 WWE Hall of Fame inductees so far are:

Dusty Rhodes and Curt Henning

Bucs News.

Tomorrow is the BIG COIN TOSS day to see where the Bucs will pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. They will either have the third pick or the fourth. It all comes down to a coin toss.

According to http://www.620wdae.com

"If Tony Dungy winning a Super Bowl was irksome to any current Buc fans,
then those fans should stop reading now. According to a report in Thursday's
Tampa Tribune, the Colts are one of three NFL teams that have interest in the
services of Mike Alstott. The Trib says that a report is circulating at the NFL
scouting combine in Indianapolis that the Colts are joined by Arizona and
Seattle in wanting to look at Alstott. Before that could even happen, the Bucs
might resign him but they haven't made any indications towards doing
that.Players who don't have new deals become free agents on March 2.Though
Alstott has not spoken yet on the matter, someone very close to him has and it
sounds like he's coming back. Alstott's wife Nicole told the Tampa Tribune Feb.
10 that the "A-Train" wants to keep playing."Mike has decided he wants to come
back in 2007 and play football," Nicole Alstott said. "Everybody loves to watch
him and he's still a fantastic football player."If that's true then it's up to
the Bucs to make it happen. Alstott's return could hinge on whether
the Bucs decide to offer him a contract for next season. The situation
could closely resemble what took place prior to last season when Alstott briefly
considered retiring. It ended with the fullback receiving a one year contract
for $1.5 million. Also, considering that Tampa is very thin at that position with
Jerald Sowell, who is expected to become a free agent, as the only other
fullback under contract.According to an email that Alstott's agent Jim Steiner
wrote to the Tampa Tribune, "He is a free agent, so we would have to negotitate
a new deal with the Bucs for him to return."

For those that truly believe Gruden wants Alstott back , you need to listen to the Bucs Official Radio Network, and the Mike Alstott show. Gruden has never really wanted Mike on the team, and it has been the Owner, who have stepped in and kept Mike. Gruden is famous for saying that he wants to keep players,l and then he allows them to get cut or leave. I heard him say he wanted Sapp back, and he wanted Lynch to be a Buccaneer, but he allowed they to leave. So don’t be surprised if we see number 40 in a different uniform. Now that Alstott is not under contract with the Bucs, and teams like the Seahawks or even Arizona, who has money to spend could afford Mike at a higher price then the Bucs would even be willing to offer. Besides, if Mike comes back it would not be advantageous for him, since we as fans already know his role in Gruden’s offense. Yes, I am a huge Alstott fan, and I have met him several time, and I have his autograph, but lets face it, I would rather see Mike in a Colts uniform, where he will be used and possibly could even return to the Pro-Bowl, and hell maybe he would make the playoffs too, lets face we won't. I also would rather see Jerald Sowell blocking for Cadilliac. Lets not forget that Curtis Martin was a 1,000 yard back ever season with Sowell blocking for him.
In other Buccaneer news, Lovie Smith has offered Hardy Nickerson a coaching job with the Bears. This would be a great move for the once beloved Buccaneer Linebacker. I have chanted his name "HARDY, HARDY" for years as a season ticket holder with the Ol-Sombrero.

The Bucs have completed their 2007 coaching staff with former North Dakota State Defensive Coordinator Todd Wash as defensive quality control coach.

The Bucs will return to Disney for their Training Camp. Now that I got a digital camera, I will be bringing photos from camp on here lets see other Bucs Blogs do that.

Muscle Milk

I have tried several protein blends since early 90’s, and none of them pack a punch like Muscle Milk. First of all, most protein powders taste nasty and are heavy on the stomach. Muscle Milk has an incredible milk shake taste, and it comes in many flavors. Muscle Milk was created by CytoSport, http://www.cytosport.com/

Muscle Milk’s key is the Evopro. The Evopro blend is what Cytosport calls “Nature’s Ultimate Anabolic Protein-amino blend”. Muscle Milk has whey and caseins in it. Muscle Milk is patterned after human mother’s milk, which has important anabolic growth potentials.

Here is what Cytosport says about their product:

“A mainstay of effective and convenient nutritional programs for serious athletes, Muscle Milk is an “evolutionary” muscle formula that promotes efficient fat burning, lean muscle growth and fast recovery from exercise. Designed after human mother’s milk, Muscle Milk is the perfect and complete protein supplement for your nutritional needs. Muscle Milk is arguably America’s favorite protein."

"EvoPro—Nature’s Ultimate Protein—Amino Blend Human milk is composed of unique and highly complex proteins, peptides and amino acids, which promote rapid muscle tissue growth. EvoPro includes these alpha and beta micellar caseins,
alpha-lactalbumin, lactoferrin, L-glutamine and more. Nature created this precise mix to stimulate muscle growth to higher levels, and EvoPro is the ultimate nitrogen delivery source. Muscle Milk helps grow muscle faster than gainers, whey or even creatine. This increased muscle growth is possible because
Muscle Milk is the first product patterned after Nature’s ultimate anabolic food—human mother’s milk. Locked within the composition of human mother’s milk are long-held secrets to muscle growth potential. We took the next step and actually duplicated these important muscle growth factors into Muscle Milk."

Muscle Milk helps you grow muscle like never before.
The key is to stay anabolic instead of becoming catabolic, and Muscle Milk makes this easy to do. Take two scoops first thing in the morning, and then another 45 minutes before workouts. This will help keep your workout intense. I left heavy and it is easy to become fatigued very fast, Muscle Milk keeps your energy level high during your workout. Then take another two scoops right after work-out, this is where it is most important. This is where your muscles need the protein to start rebuilding what you tore in the gym. This is where you want to become anabolic, other wise you will become catabolic. I usually drink 3-4 shakes a day, and I also make sure I have at least 1-2 scoops before bedtime. This is another catabolic period, during your sleep. Taking protein before bed, will help keep you anabolic during your hours of sleep.

17HD

This is me at 225 lbs. 17HD is amazing stuff. This stuff really works, I know coming from a guy that used Andro before it was pulled. In July 06, I had surgery to repair a hernia and my weight dropped to 186 lbs, and I struggled to get my size of 220 lbs back. I finally found the right supplement that is legal and packs a punch better than Andro did. As a power lifter and a body builder, this stuff works. I have been saying I will evaluate workouts and general supplements, I have not gotten around to doing so, but here is my first attempt.

My strength and size shot up on this supplement. 17-HD (17- Halo-Methyl-Dianadrone) is a revolutionary all natural anabolic formula designed to help pack on lean muscle pounds. It elevates serum levels of free testosterone resulting in an increase in strength, size, and work-out intensity. My bench has shot up past 405 lbs, and my military press is well over 225 lbs. This supplement is so potent that you must cycle off of it, in order to give you natural testosterone levels a chance to kick back in. My goal is to weigh 250 lbs, and bench 495+ range and military press 315.

Now mind you that I consume over 230 grams of protein a day. Protein of choice is muscle milk. My work-outs varies: I do classic pyramids at times, and other times I do 3-4 X 6 as heavy as I can go to get six reps. Another key is nutrition, my wife and I eat six small meals a day and drink about a gallon of water a day. We do eat according to the BODY FOR LIFE (life style). A nice way to change your meals up is by using the EAT FOR LIFE book, that was put out by Bill Philips to accomidate the Body for Life principle. My wife weighs 111 lbs and is only 5’1” and I am only 5’8" and weigh 225 with a waist size of 34. So we are doing something right.

17-Halo-Methyl-Dianadrone
LEGAL for muscle hungry bodybuilders in all 50 states!
Amazing new androgenic/anabolic outperforms all Testosterone Boosting Compounds

Callers want Dungy over Gruden.

620 WDAE the Office Radio Network of the Buccaners ran a poll where callers called in and requested which coach they wanted coaching the Buccanners when I stopped listened it was 66-0 in favor of Dungy. Wow what a Super Bowl can do for you. However, I also would pick Dungy over Gruden anyday of the week.

They funny thing was when Steve Duemig asked if Gruden was listen and that nobody wanted him here.

Keep Hitting Me In The Pockets

We have not even finished with the Pro-Bowl, and the Bucs want their money for this upcoming years season tickets. Did I tell you that each of my tickets went up $7.00 OUCH, I guess beer will go up also from $7.00 to $10.00. Anyway I will of course pay, but man this sucks.

Brooks makes 10th Pro-Bowl.

Brooks holds the Buccaneers’ records for most overall and consecutive Pro Bowls

He is the only active player in the NFL who has achieved this striking trifecta: 10 consecutive Pro Bowl selections, a Super Bowl championship and an NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.
Brooks holds the Buccaneers’ records for most overall and consecutive Pro Bowls, putting a bit more distance between himself and defensive tackle, Warren Sapp (seven). Fullback Mike Alstott (six), defensive end Lee Roy Selmon (six), linebacker Hardy Nickerson (five) and safety John Lynch (five) round out the franchise’s top six.
Lets just say we now have another Buccaneer Hall of Famer when his time comes.

David Boston Re-signs witht the Bucs.

David Boston has re-signed with Tampa and will once again work to recapture the form that made him one of the league’s most productive receivers in Arizona and San Diego .
It appears Gruden really likes this guy, now we will see if this is a training camp move, or is he going to push Clayton out of a job.

The Dungy Coaching Tree.

After you look at this, I hope you find yourself wondering as I do, WHY THE HELL DID THE GLAZERS FIRE TONY DUNGY.

We know the sugar coated answer, but what has Gruden done to keep his job? Congratulation to Coach Dungy, for taking his team to the Super Bowl "again". This is surely a day that Gruden never wanted to see. Because now we know that Gruden took Dungy’s Buccaneers to the Super Bowl, and Coach Dungy does have what it takes to get to the big game. It might be Gruden who does not have what it takes.

Anyway here it is the Tony Dungy Coaching Tree and it is impressive.

Lovie Smith, Head Coach of the Bears, and besides Dungy became the first of Dungy’s coaches to reach the Super Bowl,

Herm Edwards, Head Coach of the NY JETS and Chiefs

Rod Marinelli, Head Coach of the Lions

Most recently another Dungy disciple, Mike Tomlin, was named head coach of the Steelers.
Tomlin became the fourth new head coach to sprout from the coaching tree that was planted in Tampa, and one who has watched it grow couldn't hide his enthusiasm Monday.

Congratulations to House, The Best Show on TV

Congratulations to Hugh Laurie
Golden Globe Award Winner for Best Actor, Drama!

This is by far the best tv show on television. House, is my favorite show. Hugh Laurie, who plays Dr. Gregory House, a no bedside manner dr., who is a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and flawlwss instincts saves lives and affords him respect.

HOUSE has received an Emmy Award for creator and executive producer David Shore (Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series) and a Golden Globe Award for Hugh Laurie (Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series) and, most recently, an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series. In its second season, the show was honored by the American Film Institute as one of the TV Programs of the Year and received the Peabody Award for Best of Electronic Media in 2005 and the 2006 Humanitas Prize, honoring Shore.

If the show is this good, which I agree it is, why does Fox make it take a back seat to American Idol. Fox has two of the best shows on TV, why not use them on different nights against the other line-ups. Instead every season House goes off the air for the first two weeks of American Idol. Yes, it really pisses me off. Anyway if you have never seen the show, watch it, it is the best show on today.

Bam Bam Bigelow Dies at age 45.

WWE.com is reporting that Scott Bigelow, famously known as Bam Bam Bigelow, was found dead this morning in his home in Florida at the age of 45.

At this time the cause of death is unknown. An autopsy will be performed. Bigelow, 45, worked for WWE, ECW and WCW extensively throughout his 20-year sports-entertainment career. A former ECW Champion, ECW Television Champion and WCW Tag Team Champion, he is perhaps best known for his rivalry with Lawrence Taylor that culminated in the main event of WrestleMania XI in 1995.

Bob Casullo Joins Bucs.

Former Raider, and assistant to Jon Gruden in Oakland, joins Gruden again. Raider, Jet and Seahawk coach Bob Casullo will start Monday as the new tight ends coach, replacing Ron Middleton. I hope this is a good Oakland guy.

Larry Coyer Bucs New Assistant Head Coach.

On Thursday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers named Larry Coyer the team’s new assistant head coach/defensive line coach, completing the changes to its defensive staff for 2007. Larry Coyer, the Denver Broncos’ defensive coordinator for the last four years, comes to the Bucs with 42 years of coaching experience, I don't know much about this guy, but 620am (The Bucs Radio Network's Steve Duemig) told listeners that he would get a hold off John Lynch and get the story on Coyer.

Is this another slap in the face to Buccaneers defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin? The radio station and its listeners say yes. Is this another attempt at Coach Gruden trying to save his job?

Only time will tell.
