On Thursday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers named Larry Coyer the team’s new assistant head coach/defensive line coach, completing the changes to its defensive staff for 2007. Larry Coyer, the Denver Broncos’ defensive coordinator for the last four years, comes to the Bucs with 42 years of coaching experience, I don't know much about this guy, but 620am (The Bucs Radio Network's Steve Duemig) told listeners that he would get a hold off John Lynch and get the story on Coyer.Is this another slap in the face to Buccaneers defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin? The radio station and its listeners say yes. Is this another attempt at Coach Gruden trying to save his job?
Only time will tell.
